Kiley McAllister - Designers - details
While growing up I loved looking through the "before and after" remodel photos in my mother's magazines. The room transformations made quite an impression and I knew that interior design was something I wanted to do one day. To pursue a career in this field, I received my interior design degree from Ohio University in 2001.
My background includes residential design as well as experience in restaurant and retail design. Prior to joining Lee Meier Interiors, I worked in marketing and merchandising for an upholstery manufacturer. In this role I was part of a team studying current and upcoming trends to develop a fabric collection each season. This experience helps me to guide each of my clients today.
I enjoy following design and color trends and translating them to best fit each person's individual style. Thoughtfully mixing materials, textures, patterns and incorporating meaningful items makes each concept unique. My favorite part to the design process is getting to know my clients to create a space that enhances their lifestyle and tells a story in their home.
When not in the studio, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our young twin sons who keep us on the go. I also enjoy exercise classes, volunteering and serving on two non-profit boards in my spare time.
